Earlier today Team NINJA sent out an awesome email to inform of us some new screen shot and we aren't dissapointed in the slightest. Instead, we are intrigued to see the new enemies we've seen, and now it's our turn to show you. The new screenshots lifts a bit of smoke off the games mystery, but in turn shows us a new look into Yaiba Kamikaze's battle against the undead scourge. The screenshots display some of the new bosses, harvested weapons, and of course plight filled environments. One of the screenshots is a plight filled fortress that is armored, floats, and moves across a snowy wasteland. Yaiba is surrounded by a pack of massive two-headed zombie toddlers known as the Terrible Two. These zombies will make your skin crawl, your need to give them salvation. Luckily Yaiba's armed with a mech harvested rocket launcher, a one shot weapon that will take them out before they can get their mouths around his head for an afternoon lunch. Should the want arise and no doubt it does, he can harvest the zombie toddler's giant Shoulder Blade and brandish it into a rather mean looking weapon to finish off the lackey's that were unfortunate enough not to get away. As said best said, batter up.
More info about Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z from our friends:
In YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z, players will battle fierce zombies as Yaiba, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber-technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyber arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over-the-top abandon. Step into a stylized living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by Yaiba’s willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done. Will he kill by turning his cyber arm into a razor chainsaw for slicing up undead—or just rip off an opponent’s arms to use as zombie nunchucks? Both possibilities fill Yaiba’s heart with twisted laughter in this upcoming collaboration between famed developers Team NINJA and comcept’s Keiji Inafune.
YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z will be available for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on March 18, 2014 and Steam® (PC) on March 21, 2014. This title been rated M (Mature) by the ESRB.
