XSeed Games Confirms October Release Date for Rune Factory 4

 Earlier today in Torrance, California (September 12, 2013) the Popular Series Rune Factory Returns with it's largest RPG Simulation Adventure in its History. XSeed Games, the independent-minded console publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., has announced that the RPG simulation adventure title Rune Factory 4 will release October 1st, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system in North America. The title will be available to both packaged physical copy and of course digitially through the Nintendo eShop for a MRSP of 39.99 USD.  For those unfamiliar with Rune Factory, the game series is a fantasy life simulation game that combines farming and resource management with a classic touch of RPG dungeon adventuring, and even more-so is a spin-off of the more familiar game series Harvest Moon. For the first time in the series history, Rune Factory 4 gives players the option to play as a male or female hero, allowing for them to choose a character based on their gender preference for the games duration. Players will take the role as the games newly-appointed prince or princess who will take on the royal duties of fulfilling requests from townsfolk, or taking a more rural approach to governing by harvesting their own fruits and vegetables to help out in other ways. The player can also seek to have their prince or princess woo marriage candidates from among the townsfolk of their kingdom. Communication and gift giving will be a key to romancing their interests, and potentially resulting in marriage and perhaps even a child. In the title players will be introduced to classic RPG dungeon adventuring by the aid of the castle's vast armament of swords, spears, and staffs along with magical Rune abilities in battle against dangerous enemies, and can even be support by a companion or tamed monster that they have befriended.

  Rune Factory 4 was developed in Japan by Neverland Co. and MarvelousAQL Inc., and will be released by XSEED Games in North America for the Nintendo 3DS on October 1, 2013.
